What's your favorite part about playing volleyball?
Getting to interact with a whole bunch of different people and being competitive. It's a lot of fun!
What's your favorite movie?
I love Madagascar
What's your favorite food?
Red or Green?
It depends on where you get them from.
What's your favorite restaurant to get enchiladas from?
Probably Las Compas. It's authentic!
What's currently playing on your iPod?
Oh I've got random stuff. I've got everything from classical to Disney to rock and country. Everything!
What's your favorite television show?
Probably some of the History Channel shows. Like Modern Marvels. It's interesting.
If you couldn't play volleyball what sport would you play?
I'd probably be in track or field. Some sort of field event like throwing discus or javelin or long jump.
What attracted you to come to NMSU?
They've got a really good program both with athletics and academic. It's in town and since I'm from here it's a good choice for me. I like it.
What's it been like playing in front of your friends, family and the local people that know you?
It's cool because you have people say, "Hey I saw you on t.v.!" Your family being there to support you even if I don't get to play, it's nice still nice to see them out there knowing that they're there for me.
What do you take with you on the road to keep yourself entertained?
My iPod, Homework, unfortunately. I always have homework. Maybe a DVD player and some movies.
What are you hobbies and do you have time to do them during the season?
I really like dancing and since I'm 19 and I live in town, it's kind of hard for me to go to El Paso so I really don't get to do that much. I also like to read books but during season that's not going to happen. It's pretty much sleep when I'm not doing homework or on the court.
What's something about yourself that most people don't know?
I was a cheerleader in 8th grade. I don't think most of the team knows that because I don't think they'd let me live it down!
What does being an Aggie mean to you?
Being an Aggie means we're gonna have fun and compete. I love how you see people wearing Aggie shirts all the time, especially rivalry matches, they have special shirts for that and I think that's awesome. At my high school if you wore something supporting the school unless it was football you kind felt dumb but here it's like, "Yeah I'll wear my Aggie shirt. Bring it on!"
