LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The Division I Cross Country regional polls were announced Monday, Sept. 10th, by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The New Mexico State women’s cross country squad was tabbed 15th in the Mountain Region.

Assistant Coach Paul Harkins said that he is impressed with his young squad and is very excited to be apart of this growing and improving team.

"I think it's great that people are already looking our way," Harkins said. "Our kids are doing a great job and I think there is a lot more to come!"

The Colorado State University women return in 2007 as the top ranked women's program in the Mountain region.

The Aggies will be back in action Friday, Sept. 14 to compete at the Lori Fitzgerald Invitational in Santa Teresa, N.M.
