Before we get into today's links, we'd like to extend our best wishes for a speedy recovery to Aggie volleyball player Sarah Johnson-Kennedy. According to a report during last night's televised volleyball match between NMSU and UTEP, Sarah is in the hospital recovering from complications she had after having a tonsilectomy.

On to the links...
Bret Bloomquist of the El Paso Times writes that the Miner defense can rest a little easier knowing that they probably won't have to face Texas Tech's Graham Harrell ever again. Problem? They still have to face Aggie quarterback Chase Holbrook who if you read The Daily Aggie yesterday, Mike Price thinks is a better quarterback than Harrell.
Bret Bloomquist also writes that Chase Holbrook and Miner quarterback Trevor Vittatoe are no strangers to each other.
Felix Chavez of the Las Cruces Sun-News writes that despite losing quarterback Jordan Palmer and receiver Johnnie Lee Higgins, the Miners are off to a surprisingly good start.
Finally, our daily reminder to show up early on Saturday wearing CRIMSON.
