Aggies To Release 2009 Football Schedule This Evening

The New Mexico State athletic department will formally announce the 2009 football schedule later this evening. Under first year head coach DeWayne Walker, the Aggies will open with three straight home games to begin the season. The Aggies open against conference foe Idaho on September 5th followed by Prairie View A&M on September 12th. The Aggies will then host I-10 UTEP on September 19th followed by a road trip Albuquerque to face I-25 rival UNM on September 26th. The Aggies will then travel to San Diego State on October 3rd. The Aggies return home on October 10th to face Utah State and then head back on the road for an October 17th game at Louisiana Tech. The Aggies will then host Fresno State on October 24th before heading to Columbus, OH to face Ohio State on Halloween, October 31st. The Aggies have a bye week on November 7th followed by a road trip to Hawai'i on November 14th. The Aggies will then return home to face Nevada on November 21st and finish the season with back to back road games at San Jose State on November 28th and Boise State on December 5th.
