Good Tuesday morning Aggie fans. Our bleedCrimson.net cohort Jason informed us that the NM State athletic website has made available electronic versions of this year's volleyball (awesome) and soccer schedule posters and of course earlier this summer the Aggies' football poster was also released. You can see all three posters below (and of course the best place to pick up the posters is usually at the Pan Am ticket office).

Will this be the last year the Aggies print out schedule posters? [UPDATE: NM State Associate A.D. (and head of marketing) says the Aggies will NOT discontinue printing schedule posters.] Two WAC schools have already ditched printed posters due to the tight economic conditions that have affected athletic departments across the country. Jay at The Wiz of Odds reports that both Hawai'i and Nevada did not print posters this season, Hawai'i for the first time in 30 years. The Wiz also has this year's Idaho football schedule poster.
And while the economic conditions are tough, reader Vic shared an article with us from ESPN blogger Graham Watson who reports that the WAC's Louisiana Tech and the Big Ten's Minnesota are both pushing forward with facilities upgrades despite the tough economy. Vic also pointed to facilities upgrades over the past five years at NM State (Fulton Center, Football Video Scoreboard, Pan Am center hung scoreboard, NM State Tennis Center, NM State Golf Clubhouse, the walkway connecting the east and west concourses in AMS and others). Those upgrades coupled with the article a few days ago detailing future facilities upgrades despite the $1.5 million budget cut and you have a fairly impressive list of improvements over the last half of this decade.
