Aggie Volleyball Falls 3-1 To No. 3 Hawai'i

The Aggie volleyball team dropped to 11-7 overall and 6-2 in WAC play as they lost 3-1 to No. 3 Hawai'i on Saturday night. After dropping set one 25-14 the Aggies won set two 25-22 after jumping out to a 16-9 lead. In set three the Aggies fell behind 19-9 before staging a furious rally to pull to within just two points at 22-20. However, Hawai'i would win the next two points to go ahead 24-20 before finishing off the set with a 25-21 victory. Then in set four, much like the match in Las Cruces, it was all Hawai'i as they cruised to a 25-8 victory giving Hawai'i head coach Dave Shoji his 1,000th victory.

The Aggies return home to host Fresno State on Thursday night with a special 9:00 p.m. first serve to accommodate the ESPNU broadcast.
