Aggie Soccer Fans In The National Rankings

Thank you for all of your support in our inaugural season! We could have not have had the year we had without the local community supporting us the way that you did. Our kids absolutely love entertaining you and I believe that together we will make Las Cruces, NM a place that visitors dread coming to play.

The home attendance numbers have been released by the NCAA and YOUR support is absolutely recognized by the Nation, our players, coaches, and administration. We finished the season with an Average Home Attendance of 1,129 and finished ranked #15 in the Nation. As we look ahead to next fall I look forward to moving even farther up the charts, and I have attached a PDF file for you to see the Elite company you have put this program into.

We appreciate you taking the time to support this program. It means the world to our players and coaching staff to have this community behind us. We will continue to work from the framework we built this year as we move into the future. This group of kids has excelled in every facet of the college experience, from academics to athletics, these kids are exceptional people.

There were a lot of highlights this year, one of the biggest coming on December 18, 2009 when I received our players grades from the fall semester. In a season that saw us on the road nearly every week playing only seven games at home and a whopping thirteen on the road our kids acheived a cumulative semester GPA of a 3.31. I am extremely proud to be a part of this group of young people.

Thank you for your continued support of Aggie Socceer, and we look forward to seeing you at our home games next year. We will play twelve regular season games at home this coming fall and we need to see you out there week in and week out as we push forward to challenge for a WAC Championship in 2010!

All the best,
Michael Needham
