The Aggie baseball team continued their roll as they notched their eighth win in a row yesterday afternoon taking down Houston Baptist 9-7. Nate Shaver went 3-for-5 on the day with two RBIs as the Aggies jumped out to an 8-1 lead on the Huskies.

The Aggies will play a doubleheader today as they try for win number 20 and 21. Today's games begin at 12:00 p.m. MT and streaming audio will be available for today's games via the Houston Baptist athletic website.

Also, 2010 WAC Baseball Tournament tickets went on sale yesterday. The conference tournament will be held May 26-30 in Mesa, Ariz at Hohokam Stadium, which serves as the Chicago Cubs' spring training facility. All session passes are just $30.

Be sure to check out this week's interview with Aggie head softball coach Kathy Rodolph. The Aggies are back at home and open up their home conference schedule with Hawai'i tomorrow. The Wahine are 3-0 in league play and are coming off a sweep of San Jose State. The Aggies are 0-3 and looking to bounce back from an off weekend against the Broncos in Boise. Coach Rodolph is pleased with her team's attitude after the poor showing over the weekend saying that her kids have come out to practice with great energy.

The WAC Softball Blog also alerts fans to the fact that the 2011 WAC Softball Tournament will be held in Las Vegas, Nev on May 13th and 14th on the campus of UNLV.
