LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The New Mexico State Athletics Department production team ‘Aggie Vision’ has been nominated for the College Sports Media Awards (CSMA), a competition recognizing excellence in video production at all levels of college sports, announced by event sponsors the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and the Sports Video Group (SVG).

Aggie Vision has been nominated for the Sony Award for Best Live Game or Live Event for their production of the NM State women’s basketball game against the University of Kansas during the 2009-10 basketball season.

"Aggie Vision is proud to be represented among the nominees,” Joe Brackman, Aggie Vision General Manager said. “As a department that relies heavily on students working in various positions of our broadcast, it's great to be recognized for our work. Aggie Vision has been an example of a great partnership. Our students are being provided real-world experience in the sports television industry, while we have the opportunity to promote and enhance New Mexico State Athletics."

The winners of the 2010 College Sports Media Awards will be announced at the College Sports Video Summit (CSVS) on June 8 in Atlanta, Ga. For more information about the event visit: www.CSVSummit.com
