The Daily Aggie :: 11/25/10

Happy Thanksgiving everyone and a very special congratulations to the Utah State Aggie volleyball team for their 3-0 upset of No. 3 Hawai'i last night in the championship match of the WAC Volleyball tournament. The Utah State Aggies defeated New Mexico State twice in the last week and played phenomenal last night in the upset. They ended UH's 11-year stranglehold on the WAC Tournament. While it still doesn't feel too good to have the Aggies go out in the semifinal round, it softens the blow a little bit knowing that they lost to the eventual WAC champions.

Aggie sports kick back into action tomorrow as the women's basketball team hosts the Thanksgiving Classic. The Aggies host Alcorn State tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. and in the early game at 4:00 p.m. it will be Louisiana-Monroe versus Northern Iowa.
