The Aggie men's basketball team hosts Pacific tonight in the Lou Henson Classic. The Aggies are on a two-game winning streak and looking to pick up their third in a row. Pacific comes in with a 6-4 record including a season-opening victory over UTEP in El Paso. The Tigers average just 64.7 points per game and are led by Sam Willard who is averaging a double-double at 16.7 points and 10.1 rebounds per game. Willard and Demetrece Young are both hitting over 50 percent of their shots as is Nyika Williams. Young is the Tigers' best three point shooter and is hitting 41.2 percent of his shots.

The Aggies will be looking to push the pace in this game and try to speed up the Tigers. The Aggies will also be looking to generate offense from their defense in the form of fast break points and points in transition. Playing without Troy Gillenwater and Hamidu Rahman, the Aggie offense is certainly not as well oiled in the half court as it would be with those two. Gordo Castillo, Hernst Laroche and Christian Kabongo need to all have big games for the Aggies tonight on the offensive end. The Aggies likely need to get 15-plus points from each of them as well as eight to 10 from Tyrone Watson.

A victory tonight could be the one that propels the Aggies into the rest of their season. This would be the Aggies' best victory of the season by far and with a pair of non-conference games remaining next week, both at home, they can generate some good momentum heading into the break.

Tonight's game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. tipoff with radio coverage available via the Aggie Sports Network. The game will be televised on AggieVision, ESPN3.com, ESPN Full Court and Altitude 2.
