Aggie Softball Falls 3-2 Against New Mexico

The New Mexico State softball team dropped a 3-2 decision to in-state rival New Mexico on Monday afternoon at the NM State Softball Complex. Swedberg would steal second with Tiffany Autry at bat pinch hitting for Brittany Clifton. Autry would reach on a fielder's choice as Olive was thrown out at home for the first out. Kristi Covarrubia would pinch run for Autry. Tehani Kaaihue would hit a grounder and appeared to be safe at first but was called out. Covarrubia would attempt to get the Lobos to play into a rundown while Swedberg would try to score the tying run but the Lobos would throw Swedberg out at home to end the inning.
