The Daily Aggie :: 04/21/11

The Aggie baseball team is in Reno this weekend as they continue their quest for a regular season title. The Wolf Pack have struggled a bit this season at 11-20 and 0-3 in WAC play after losing three to Fresno State (the fourth game was cancelled due to the sudden passing of Nevada President Milton Glick on Saturday evening). Brock Stassi is the Wolf Pack's best player. He has an on base percentage of .466 which leads the team. His batting average at .317 is second on the team.

Nevada will send Tom Jameson to the hill today against the Aggies. Jameson is 2-4 in nine starts with a 6.55 ERA.

The Aggies need a series victory in Nevada to keep pace with Hawai'i and Fresno State as the Bulldogs travel to Sacramento to face Sacramento State. The Warriors are out of conference this week.

Today's game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. (MT) first pitch and can be heard on KSNM AM 570. Live Stats will also be available via the Nevada athletic website.
