AggieVision Nominated For College Sports Media Awards Honor

The AggieVision crew at New Mexico State has been nominated for the XOS Awards for College Athletics in the Live Event category for their live broadcast of the New Mexico State softball doubleheader against Fresno State in Las Cruces on Saturday, April 9th.

The New Mexico State softball team would go on to win both games of the doubleheader as both teams and the AggieVision crew battled the spring winds which saw gusts of up to 60 mph.

The nomination marks the second consecutive year the AggieVision crew has been nominated for their coverage of a New Mexico State athletics live event. Last season the AggieVision crew was nominated for the broadcast of the New Mexico State women's basketball team's victory over nationally ranked Kansas.

Last fall AggieVision General Manager Joe Brackman won an Emmy Award from the Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Brackman earned the award for Interview/Discussion-Program/Special or Series with a program titled "Conversations in Black History."
