Jene Coppedge's Aggie Volleyball Diary :: November 8th, 2011

Hello Aggies!

I apologize for the delay in blogging lately, these past couple weeks have been really hectic. Aggie volleyball has been full speed for the past few weeks! We have had some good wins and some heartbreaking losses.

After our road trip to Utah and Idaho, we really had to come back home and get refocused. Two losses were not ideal for our post season hopes so now we are having to work even harder in order to make our NCAA tournament hopes a reality.

I think we were able to gain some of our confidence and fight back after a win over Fresno and Nevada at home this past weekend. We head out to San Jose and Hawaii this weekend. This is going to be an exciting, yet very long trip for us and it’s imperative that we remained focused from here on out. We cannot afford to have any more let ups and I don’t think we will.

We learned many valuable lessons while in Utah and Idaho and have become a more resilient bunch as a result. We continue to push each other harder and harder every day in the gym to improve our game. After this road trip, we will come home and have a week without games to begin preparing for the WAC tournament. Wish us luck and safe travel! GO AGGIES!
