Aggie Cross Country Teams Record Solid Finishes At Mountain Regional; Courtney Schultz Finishes 8th

Aggie junior harrier Courtney Schultz took one step closer to fulfilling her quest for a NCAA Championship appearance. Schultz placed eighth individually in the women's 6K with a time of 21:09.8. Her eighth place finish may be just enough to earn herself an at-large invite to the championship meet. The top four individuals whose teams did not qualify for the NCAA Championship meet receive automatic invitations and there are also two-at large bids available to individuals. As the results stand in the Mountain Regional, Schultz is fifth among individuals whose teams did not qualify, however, her Top Ten finish gives her an excellent chance of earning that coveted at-large spot.

The Aggie women's team finished 10th overall in the regional with 278 points as Schultz's sister Camille finished 28th, Chelsa McDonnell finished 72nd, freshman Tamara Lementino finished 83rd, Madelyn Stoltze finished 87th, Samantha Hamilton finished 118th and Rylie Hightower finished 122nd.

The men's team recorded a 12th place finish with 296 points. Kevin Palmer finished 36th, Jonah Ruybalid finished 45th, Ian Ruybalid finished 58th, Kevin Taft finished 74th, Terry Williams finished 83rd, Victor Sanchez finished 88th and Robert Selph finished 106th.
