The Aggie volleyball team picked up another impressive victory last night opening the La Quinta Invitational with a 3-1 victory over Cincinnati. After dropping the first set 25-17 the Aggies gutted out a 25-23 victory where they trailed 23-22 but scored the final three points to take the win. They also rallied from a 13-9 deficit in the third set to go on to win 25-18 and then they absolutely crushed the Bearcats in set four winning 25-7. The Aggies finished the match on an incredible 16-1 run and at one point scored 14 points in a row after leading 9-6.

The Aggies return to action today when they host Drake at 12:30 p.m. (MDT) and Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. (MDT). Both matches will be aired on KSNM AM 570 and streamed online via Aggie Access (subscription required).

The Aggie soccer team picked up a tie against UC Riverside on Friday night getting a late goal from Layla Todd, the first goal of the season, to force overtime. Neither team scored in the first or second overtimes giving the Aggies the tie.

The Aggies take on Southern Utah on Sunday morning as they try to pick up their first victory of the season.
