LAS CRUCES, N.M. - New Mexico State soccer’s Jannae Cambra was named Western Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 7-13, the conference office announced Monday morning.

Cambra, a junior forward from Morgan Hill, Calif. (Sobrato HS), scored each of the Aggies’ three goals over the weekend with five shots on goal. She helped NM State comeback from a 2-0 deficit at Utah Valley, scoring two goals to secure a 2-2 tie. She also scored NM State’s lone goal in a 2-1 double-overtime loss at Bakersfield earlier in the week. Over her two matches, Cambra recorded three goals, five shots on goal and six points.

NM State (4-9-2, 1-5-1 WAC) continues on the road with a trip to Grand Canyon on Friday, Oct. 18 at 8 p.m.
