DENVER, CO - New Mexico State senior forward Jennae Cambra has been named Western Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for Oct. 6 through Oct. 12. It’s the second time this year she’s earned the award.

“Jennae definitely deserves the recognition and has had a great season,” NM state head coach Freddy Delgado said. “This is a credit to our entire team and it’s great for the Aggie soccer program.”

Cambra, a senior from Morgan Hills, Calif. (Sobrato HS) led the Aggies to a weekend split with Missouri-Kansas City and Chicago State. Against UMKC, she scored the team’s only goal in a 2-1 loss. In Sunday’s 4-1 win over CSU, Cambra scored the first goal and assisted on the second to total five points for the weekend.

NM State returns to action Friday at 3 p.m. and play host to Seattle U.
