LAS CRUCES, N.M. - After a disappointing 2015 season, the NM State Baseball team looks to rebound in 2016 with a challenging schedule as a announced by head coach Brian Green on Friday. The Aggies open the season on Feb. 19 and will play 31 home games, compared to only 19 in 2015.

“We are really excited about the [2016] schedule,” said Green. “We have 31 home games, compared to just 19 last year. We will be able to increase the home attendance. Setting an attendance record last year, with only 19 home games, says a lot about the community…we hope to reset the home attendance record this year and in fact we hope to smash it.”
