Karianna Knezevich And Katlynn Crine Named UEC Riders Of The Month

WACO, TX - Sophomore Karianna Knezevich and senior Katlynn Crine have been named United Equestrian Conference Riders of the Month for September, the organization announced on Tuesday. This is Knezevich's second such honor this season for equitation over fences, after receiving the same recognition from the National Collegiate Equestrian Association earlier this month. This is Crine's first honor of the season for co-horsemanship.

A product of Katy, Texas, Knezevich posted a sterling 3-0 record in equitation over fences in September, including wins against Top-10 ranked opponents Baylor and Fresno State. She was named MVP at the Willis Invitational for her 83-82 victory over Alex Dirickson of Fresno State. During the month of September, Knezevich averaged a score of 80.33 and defeated opponents by an average margin of 7.67.

Crine, a native of Anaheim, Calif., earned a perfect 3-0 record during September, with two victories coming over Top-10 Fresno State and Baylor. During the month, she average a score 71 and defeated her opponents by an average margin of three points.

The Aggies are back in action on Friday as they travel to Columbia, S.C. to face off against South Carolina.
