New Mexico State’s Rebecca Keijzerwaard has been named the Western Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for January 16-22.

Keijzerwaard, a freshman from Oudenhoorn, Netherlands went undefeted against UNLV and Weber State. She won both flight 3 singles matches, beating her opponent from Weber State (3-6, 6-2, 6-2) and was beating her opponent from UNLV when the match was stopped. She also teamed up with Vanessa Valdez, winning their doubles match against Weber State (7-6) and beating UNLV at the time the match was stopped.
