Kayli Farmer Named WAC Outdoor Field Athlete Of The Week

DENVER, CO - Kayli Farmer was named the Western Athletic Conference Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the league on Tuesday.

Farmer placed first in the high jump and second in the javelin at the Willie Williams Classic in Tucson, Ariz. Her mark in the high jump (1.70m, 5-7) is a new personal record, ranks best in the WAC, and ranks 24th in the NCAA. She also had a personal best in the javelin (42.39m, 139-1), as she ranks first in the WAC.

NM State track and field is back in action at the UTEP Springtime Classic on Saturday, March 25.
