The Daily Aggie :: 01/02/08 :: Afternoon Update

Just a quick update to remind everyone that the game tonight is an 8:00 p.m. MST tip time since Moscow, ID is in the Pacific time zone.

As we mentioned this morning, Idaho has given the Aggies fits when the game is played in Moscow and the experts at The Sports Network agree with us, they've got the Aggies coming out on top of tonight's match, 72-68.

Here are a couple more links to get you through the rest of the afternoon...

Randy Harrison of the Albuquerque Journal writes that the Aggies have to put all their post season hopes into winning the WAC tournament. (Registration required, use the Trial Premium Pass, it's free)

The folks at AOL Fanhouse debate the merits of Hawaii's inclusion in the BCS bowls.

This is totally unrelated to the Aggies in any way, shape or form but J.R. Moehringer of Los Angeles Magazine has a fascinating piece on USC Trojans head football coach Pete Carroll. (Be patient, for some reason the page takes a long time to load, but it's completely worth it).

Just hours after losing to Georgia in the Sugar Bowl, could Hawai'i also be losing their head coach? The SMU Daily Campus reports that Jones has 72 hours to consider SMU's $1.5 to $1.7 million per year offer.
