LAS CRUCES, N.M. - New Mexico State football and the Ole Miss Rebels are set to meet on the gridiron in Oxford, Miss. on November 9, 2019. This is the second time the Aggies and Rebels have squared off with the first meeting coming on Oct. 10, 2015 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

After inking the deal with Ole Miss, NM State Athletic Director Mario Moccia said, “I’m very excited for our student-athletes to have the opportunity to travel back to Oxford and take on a top-flight program in Ole Miss. We were able to land a great deal against a program with such a unique atmosphere. We are fortunate for not only our student-athletes but all of our supporters who can make the trip with us down to the Grove for what promises to be a great contest.”

Ole Miss concluded the 2016 season with a 5-7 record and a 2-6 mark in conference play which placed them in seventh in the western division of the Southeastern Conference. The Rebels battled seven top-25 opponents and took down No. 8 Texas A&M, 29-28, as well as No. 11 Georgia, 45-14.

Along with the addition of Ole Miss, NM State’s 2019 schedule features Alabama, Georgia Southern, Liberty (x2) and Lafayette. Looking ahead for the Rebels, their 2019 slate contains NM State, Memphis, Southeastern Louisiana and Cal.
