LAS CRUCES, N.M. - New Mexico State and UCLA have signed a deal that’ll see the Aggies take on the UCLA Bruins at the Rose Bowl on zero week in 2020 Director of Athletics Mario Moccia announced Thursday.

“Playing on zero week is great for exposure and motivates players all summer,” head football coach Doug Martin said. “We look forward to playing against a historic program like UCLA.”

This will be the second meeting between the Aggies and Bruins all-time. The two programs met on the gridiron back in 2013 in Martin’s first year at the helm in Pasadena, Calif., with NM State falling to UCLA.

The 2017 NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl Champion New Mexico State Aggies gear up for the 2018 campaign as it entertains the Wyoming Cowboys at 8 p.m. (MT) on Saturday, Aug. 25, in a nationally televised game on ESPN2.
