DENVER, CO - The New Mexico State women's tennis doubles of team of Chloe Gavino and Rebecca Keijzerwaard was named the Western Athletic Conference Doubles Team of the Week Tuesday morning.

This is the first doubles team of the week honor for Gavino and Keijzerwaard together as a team and first for NM State this spring as well.

In their first match of the weekend together Gavino and Keijzerwaard took down then No. 11 Central Oklahoma's doubles team 6-2. The pair followed up with a 6-1 win over UTSA's tandem two days later at home.

Gavino, a freshman from Tucson, Ariz., has now won seven-straight doubles matches with three different teammates – including three-straight with Keijzerwaard. She is also 7-0 in dual matches this season.

The Aggies hit the road this weekend as they head to Laramie, Wyo., for a pair of matches against Montana State (March 2) and Wyoming (March 3).
