FORT COLLINS, CO - The reigning Western Athletic Conference champions are adding more hardware to their trophy case.

The Aggies won the team title at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic Tuesday, finishing in first place with an overall score of 26-over-par 890. NM State finished ahead of host Colorado State (895, +31) and third-place San Francisco (897, +33).

NM State sat alone in first place through 36 holes of play, firing an overall team score of 13-over-par 589 across yesterday's first and second rounds. The Aggies never lost their grip on the lead in the final round, holding off surges from both Colorado State and San Francisco to claim the title.

Senior Dominique Galloway carded the Aggies' top individual finish, tying for fourth at four-over-par 220. The performance marks her second top-10 finish and third top-25 finish of the season.

Senior Pun Chanachai and sophomore Amelia McKee each finished in the top 25, as both tied for 12th at seven-over-par 223. It is Chanachai's second top-25 finish of the year and McKee's third.

Freshman Alison Gastelum came in at 12-over-par 228, tying for 29th place, while junior Kehler Koss rounded out the Aggie fivesome, tying for 39th place at 18-over-par 234. Koss eagled the first hole on the front nine en route to shooting a three-over-par 75 in the final round.

NM State is off until the second week of October. The Aggies return to action with their only home event of the season, hosting the Aggie Invitational from Monday, Oct. 7-Wednesday, Oct. 9, at New Mexico State Golf Course.
