RUSTON, LA - The New Mexico State softball fell in the 2013 edition of the Western Athletic Conference Tournament championship game with a 4-0 final score to the San Jose State Spartans on Saturday, May 11. The Aggies finish the season with a 37-20 overall record.
A tough day at the plate for the Aggies ended with just one Aggie hit off the bat of Staci Rodriguez. Freshman pitcher Makayla McAdams took the loss for the Aggies as she pitched just 0.2 innings but gave up the initial two SJSU runs.
“I am extremely proud of this team and the way they played all year,” head coach Kathy Rodolph said. “It is always disappointing to end the season like this, but I cannot be more pleased with the way this team worked and grew every day this season.” Continue Reading This Post >>

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The New Mexico State softball team battled for a two-game sweep over the third-place Seattle Redhawks on Saturday, April, 27, in a Western Athletic Conference battle. The Senior Weekend doubleheader ended with a 2-0 win in game one and a late-inning rally in game two for a 9-7 win to sweep the series.
