NMSU Football Falls At No. 9/10 Texas A&M

Written By: NM State Athletic Dept.

COLLEGE STATION, TX - The NM State football team played with heart Saturday night in front of 99,960 hostile fans at Kyle Field as it fell 52-10 to No. 9/10 Texas A&M on the road.

"I told our offensive kids, we had 3 goals tonight," said head coach Doug Martin. "We wanted to play more physical, we wanted to take care of the football and we wanted to run the ball better. We really got all three of those down tonight. For us, it was a productive night as far as that goes. If we can carry that on into our last four conference games, then we have a chance to win some of those games, or all of those games."

Tyler Rogers finished the game completing 19-of-34 passes for 138 yards in the air and added another 40 on the ground. Larry Rose III ran for 89 of the Aggies' 169 net yards on the ground and added 26 reception yards as well for 115 all-purpose yards.  Continue Reading This Post >>
